At a public hospital in Beijing, the hospital's fee for a CT scan of one body area is capped at ¥133 (about $20) without contrast and ¥203 (about $30) with contrast. These are official maximum prices: a hospital may charge less, never more.

How much does a CT scan with contrast cost in China?
The official Beijing fee for a CT with contrast is at most ¥203 (about $30) per body area, and it replaces the plain fee for that area. The contrast medicine is charged separately. Contrast is quoted on top of our starting price.
Is a CT scan cheaper than an MRI in China?
At the hospital level, yes: the official cap is ¥133 per area for CT and ¥470 for MRI. Which exam you need is a medical decision, not a price decision.
